Important information regarding AquaSim 2.19

Due to unwanted interactions between forces in impermeable net we recommend using the 2.18.1 solver.

Drag forces and lift forces have an unexpected interaction when using impermeable nets. We are currently working on the issue and will release a new version as soon as possible. We recommend generally using the long standing 2.18.1 version until further notice.

Unavailable functions

In 2.19 we released Line break at a specific max foce (#1704), support for turbine generators (#1582), and an advanced bouyancy model for beams (#1768). These will not function when using AquaEdit 2.19 and AquaSim 2.18.1 solver

How to revert solver to 2.18.1

To permanently change the solver to 2.18.1 please set this in AquaEdit.

Go to File, choose Settings, and under Aquasim version select aquasim_2_18_1.exe.

If you lack aquasim_2_18_1.exe please use Help -> Check for updated solver and redownload it.
