AquaSim for fishfarms
AquaSim is rooted in aquaculture, having been developed from the start to solve the novel issues present in fishfarms. An unsurpassed simulation of nets, and its ability to handle large systems containing stiff and flexible components, makes AquaSim the perfect tool for simulating both traditional and more experimental systems.
Taking into account current, wave, and wind loads, AquaSim FEM analysis is a cutting edge tool. Whether it is to optimize moorings and placement to lower cost, or participating in certifying fishfarms, AquaSim is uniquely suited to the application.

AquaSim for future technologies
As the industry develops, so does AquaSim. With the introduction of lice skirts to combat the increasing issue of Lepeophtheirus salmonis infestations, flexible, impermeable membranes have been added. Along with this shells, allowing the simulation of steel or concreet or other materials, are also available. Valves to allow “sinkable” systems have been introduced, along component contact to simulate vessels interacting with the farm, and a host of other improvements.
AquaSim will continue inovating and stay up to day and relevant no matter what direction aquaculture takes us.
