To check that your model will work, static considerations are first conducted. You should run a static analysis and review your model in AquaView.

Select Export from the Toolbar menu and navigate to the Normal tab in the Environment window. Apply 5 initial steps; that is, Preincrement = 5. Since this is a simple model, Max iterations pr step can be 500. Since we run a static analysis, Num total steps for waves can be set to 0.

Apply the settings as highlighted in the figure below and Export the analysis. We have named the analysis static_.

Start the analysis.
