The avz-file that is associated with this tutorial has a total of 45 steps, we would like to extract the 5 last timesteps. Select Steps and type 40-45 in the section to the right.

Press Execute. The control window will appear, showing the status of the execution.

This will output a file named run_01_out.AVS. Right-click this file > Open in > AquaView.

In AquaView it is seen that the file contains the 5 last timesteps (no. 40 to 45) of the original result-file.
