Memory allocation implications
Last reviewed version: 2.17When installing the AquaSim package and selecting Custom allocation the amount of memory a program can maximally allocate can be customized.
Allowing for a higher memory allocation will allow for loading larger / longer result files. The amount that can maximally be allocated should be set to be less or match the amount of system memory the installation devices has.
If the memory allocation is set too high the system may become unresponsive and hard to use if more memory than is available is attempted allocated.
